What is Nordicman Fitness Bootcamp anyway?
It is a 4 week program held outdoors (indoors during the winter) of fun and intense total-body workouts that includes top notch fitness instruction, nutritional coaching and motivational training all designed to get in you the best shape of your life regardless of your current fitness level.
What if I'm not very physically fit?
My Bootcamp is for people of every age, size, shape or fitness level. Male or Female, Old or Young, Short or Tall, Fit or Not-so-fit. All I ask is that every recruit who enlists agrees to do their best. Get It?You don't have to be in the best shape of your life to join - that's why you're enlisting, to get in the Best Shape of Your Life! I will get you to where you want to "BE"!!
Where's the location of the boot camp?
During the outdoor season we meet at the Silver Lake Playground on 7th St NE.
During the indoor season we meet at the Martial Arts Fitness Center on South Broadway.
How often will we meet?
Camps meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
What times are the camps?
There are 3 times to choose from : 6-7am, 9-10am or 5:30-6:30pm.
What if I'm too busy or don't have time to come?
Professionally speaking ... after working with many people over the years I've found that "I don't have time" really means "I'd like to procrastinate a little longer". The truth of the matter is that you can make time if you really want to change the way you look and feel. Ask yourself this: Am I finally ready?
What types of exercises are performed?
The workouts are focused on total-body functional fitness. The exercises include: Body weight calisthenics, circuit training, obstacle courses, short distance running, core training, and yoga for flexibility.
What should I bring to the camp?
Besides comfortable clothes you can exercises in (dress for the weather- layers) and comfortable well supported sneakers, you will need: a exercise/yoga mat, towel, water bottle, and optionally a pair of weight lifting/exercise gloves or gardening gloves.
What should I expect?
You should expect a dramatic improvement in your overall fitness level as well as more confidence and greater self esteem. You will be totally proud of your overall achievement in the program. On average you'll drop 3-6 pounds and 2-5% body fat every 30 days.
What does it cost to join?
Your investment in yourself is only $120 per 4 week session. That's only $10 per workout!!! Compare that to $70+ for an hour with a personal trainer. Discounts Available for long term commitments of 3 or 6 months.
Can I pay per workout or just when I come?
No. The fact of the matter is that you need and want to exercise consistently, Right? I've found that a great motivator is knowing that you are consistently paying for your boot camp. If you really want to enlist but can't commit to 3 days a week Contact Me to work something out.
Does the camp ever end?
Nordicman Fitness Bootcamp is an ongoing program. After all it's a lifestyle change. You're welcome to join for as little as one month or stay on board for the long haul like 85% of the recruits.
